A shocking video has emerged on social media appearing to show a baby being given 'shots of vodka'. The small child coughs and splutters as a woman laughs in the clip, NorthWalesLive reports.

Police in the area have now launched an investigation into the clip which was originally shared on TikTok. North Wales Police say social services have now safeguarded the child, but they did not reveal the relationship between the woman and child seen in the video.

The clip has since been deleted from TikTok and has been widely criticised online. Police said they have no further concerns over the child.
