A woman mauled to death by a dog while she slept has been pictured for the first time as friends pay tribute. Keira Ladlow has been named locally as the victim of the shocking incident, which took place in Kitts Green, Birmingham.
The dog - thought to be a Staffordshire cross - is said to have attacked her and caused fatal injuries while she was sleeping alone at home.
Emergency services rushed to the property at around 2pm on Friday but Keira, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. She had been found by a relative, West Midlands Police said.
