Woman, 25, mauled to death by family dog as relative makes horrifying discovery

mirror.co.ukA 25-year-old believed to have been mauled by her family's pet dog has died, according to reports. The incident happened in Sunbeam Way, Kitts Green in Birmingham on Friday afternoon, BirminghamLive reports.
The victim was was alone in the property when it happened. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene after a relative dialled 999 at about 2pm.
The dog, said by West Midlands Police to be a Staffordshire cross, is due to be destroyed. The force confirmed the dog also lived at the address.
