Woman, 21, pulled over on M62 told police she had been on Trafford Centre shopping trip - before her lies fell apart

Antonia Bettridge was pulled over by officers off the M62 at junction nine for Winwick, Warrington, because of her poor driving.
Officers became suspicious but when asked what she had on her, Bettridge told them she had 'no money' as she was on her way back from a trip to the Trafford Centre.
However, when officers searched her vehicle, they found more than £8,000 in cash. It transpired the personal trainer and masseuse was in fact on a return journey after travelling to a service station more than 150 miles away - where she had been 'doing a favour' for a friend.
