Matt Hyde, CEO of the Scouts, who has had the pleasure of working closely with Kate, previously spoke to the Mirror about her genuine persona both in front of the cameras and behind the scenes.
Kate took on a role with the Scouts as a volunteer back in January 2012, shortly after becoming a member of the Royal Family, and was later appointed Joint President of the Scouts Association in September 2020.
