Staff at a Wishaw charity that is wrestling with funding cuts have shown their commitment to the cause by being tattooed with it’s logo.Made4U in ML2 has seen a reduction of £15,000 in funding from the local authority and in a bid to maintain the majority of its current services to local children and young people, staff and volunteers decided to hold a fundraising week.A host of activities were arranged as they attempted to raise £4000.
These included hair dying, an ice-bucket challenge, a bake sale, and an opportunity for visitors to “soak the staff”. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
