Wishaw boss Mark Daly says change was needed in the junior ranks – but fears some clubs will be battered in the West of Scotland League.Daly says the new set-up presents a brilliant opportunity for some, but worries if it might be pricing smaller clubs out of that promise.
He said: “I think the juniors need to change; I don’t think anybody would dispute that, and as soon as you got the likes of Kilwinning, Clydebank, the bigger teams jumping, then it’s obviously going to filter through, and on the whole I think everybody is going to step up, but you do fear for the smaller clubs. “You’re looking at smaller teams like Annbank, Ardeer, Newmains, Saltcoats, whoever, they could take a few drubbings next season.“I think that system could be
