Lillie and her brother True issued a joint statement on Instagram in which they announced the passing of the Emmy-winning actress.'To all our friends, far and wide around the world…' he said. 'We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered.

The Cheers and Look Who's Talking star died December 5 following a battle with colon cancer. She was pictured in 2016 in NYC  Lillie (pictured) and her brother True issued a joint statement on Instagram in which they announced the passing of the Emmy-winning actress  'She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead.
