Wipeout contestant dies after completing assault course on reboot series

mirror.co.ukA man has collapsed and died after competing on Wipeout and later complaining of chest pains. Medics rushed to the scene of the once popular entertainment assault course gameshow but were unable to save the life of the man who later passed away at a local hospital.
The contestant was on set at Sable Ranch in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, California, north of Los Angeles, where the USA version of the show is filmed – but was not on the obstacle course itself – when he fell ill.
