Winds Of Winter, the upcoming sixth book in the A Song Of Ice And Fire series, is coming along well according to author George R.R.
Martin. It’s been over a decade since the latest book in the series, A Dance With Dragons, was released in 2011, and over the years there’s been a lot of speculation as to when the sixth book might come out.
It was originally due to be released in 2015 but it’s been delayed several times.Collider asked Martin about the adaptations of his books, and he said that for fans who aren’t a fan of the TV shows and games, the books will always be there. “There’s always the books, and I’m aware of that people think that,” he said. “But no, I have to get back.
I have to finish the books. That’s the one thing I’m completely in control of. There’s no budget limitations. There’s no other executives on the studio side that I have to please, or other writers with different views.“The books are what I’m going to make them.
