Win or Lose is coming to an end. Pixar’s first original series just debuted the final two episodes of Season 1 on Disney+ on Wednesday (March 12).
The final episodes center on Kai, who just moved to a new town and is hoping to make friends on the team, and Coach Dan. Win or Lose follows “the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game.
The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives,” via Disney+.
Of course, viewers are now wondering if there will be a second season of the Pixar show. Keep reading to find out more… Disney+ has not renewed Win or Lose, and based on a new report, it’s unlikely it will happen. After cancelling its Tiana series, Walt Disney Animation Studios confirmed in early March that it would abandon original longform content for streaming.
