Prince William must avoid a "death trap" while competing with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as he tries to build his popularity abroad, a royal expert has said.
It's been said that the Duke of Cambridge, 40, wants to connect more with people overseas in a public relations move. However, royal expert Eric Schiffer has claimed that the Prince faces a challenge of not focusing on issues that matter to Gen Z and millennials.
Speaking to Daily Star, Eric said: "Defining the battleground and the death trap today for William will be to not focus closely on the environment and the issues that matter to Gen Z and millennials, including equality and empowerment of women. "To do it in ways that don't seem to be merchandising, but are done through action." The royal expert explained to the publication that the Cambridges are attempting to win over the American people, which will be hard as Harry and Meghan have relocated to the US and are active influences there.
He added: "They're planning on coming here. They've been aware of it for a while and they're re-dialling their messaging." While reports swirl about William and Kate Middleton trying to connect with people overseas, it's been confirmed that Harry and Meghan will be returning to the United Kingdom in just a few weeks' time.
