Prince William and Kate Middleton are to cut short Coronation rehearsals for Princess Charlotte’s birthday, it has been claimed.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Prince Archie is not the only royal grandchild to be celebrating a birthday during Coronation week, as Princess Charlotte will turn eight on May 2, whilst Prince Archie's birthday falls on the same day as King Charles' Coronation – May 6.
However, we have learnt that the Princess’ birthday will clash with King Charles’ Coronation rehearsals between May 2 and May 5, to be held in the ballroom of Buckingham Palace.
Sources tell OK! that due to the diary clash, Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 40, are set to cut their first practice session short to celebrate their daughter’s birthday. “William and Kate are very aware that it’s Princess Charlotte’s birthday on May 2 and don’t want it to get buried in coronation hype,” a source said. “They have ensured that Charlotte’s birthday will be celebrated properly during coronation week.” “Charlotte will be at school at Lambrook on that Tuesday so the plan is to collect her at the usual time and drive back to Windsor for a small party with her friends at Adelaide Cottage.
