William and Kate dote on Princess Charlotte as trio bond at Commonwealth Games

Prince William and Kate Middleton have arrived in Birmingham to show their support for this year’s Commonwealth Games competitors alongside their daughter, Princess Charlotte.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pictured in the audience at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre alongside their 7 year old daughter.The Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant as she sported an all white suit for the occasion, wearing her glossy brunette hair naturally wavy as she cosied up to her daughter, who looked adorable in a striped dress and plaits.

Other members of the Royal family have been spotted at the Games this morning.The Earl and the Countess of Wessex were pictured at the Alexander Stadium for the first day of the athletics.

Prince Edward and Sophie were with their children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. On 28 July Princess Charles and Duchess Camilla represented the Queen at the opening ceremony of the international sporting event.

Prince Charles delivered the Queen’s message at Alexander Stadium, saying: "On October 7 last year, this specially created Baton left Buckingham Palace to travel across the Commonwealth. “Over the past 294 days, it has carried not only my message to you, but also the shared hopes and dreams of each nation and territory through which it has passed, as it made its way to Birmingham. "Over the years, the coming together of so many for the ‘Friendly Games’ has created memorable shared experiences, established long standing relationships, and even created some friendly rivalries.
