If Prince William and Harry don't patch up their feud it will be a 'trauma' similar to mum Diana's death that will change the monarchy forever, a royal biographer has warned.
Robert Lacey, who has just completed a new book on the two brothers, said the divide between them is "worse than anyone thinks".
Battle Of Brothers picks apart the cracks in the dukes' relationship, with the former journalist and historian claiming the breakdown goes back earlier than many think.
Mr Lacey - who wrote what is considered the definitive biography of the Queen in 1977 - was once welcomed by the Firm with open arms.
