Will Young has handcuffed himself to the gates of a facility that breeds beagles for laboratory experiments. The Pop Idol winner joined campaigners at MBR Acres in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, as animal rights activists called for the facility to be shut down.

In the snap, shared by the Camp Beagle, the 42 year old singer is sat on the ground in jeans, a white top and a khaki trench coat as he held a sign that read: “Cambridgeshire famous for Beagle torture thanks to MBR”.

The singer also had a cup of tea by his side, while one hand was chained to the railing with the handcuff. Get exclusive celebrity stories and reality tv news straight to your inbox with OK!
