The Mandalorian season three has finally reached its conclusion. Just eight weeks after returning after a two-year break, the hit Disney+ series set in the Star Wars universe has wrapped up its third outing in dramatic fashion.
Reaction to the latest series has been mixed, but the final two episodes did not disappoint. In this week’s episode – Chapter 24: The Return – Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Grogu, Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) and the entire Mandalorian tribe go up against the Imperial remnants led by Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).
After a tense battle in the depths of Mandalore, Gideon and his Beskar-enhanced Stormtroopers were defeated, with Grogu – AKA Baby Yoda – saving the day by using the Force.
The epic finale offered a perfect happy ending for the titular bounty hunter and his little green apprentice, neatly rounding off the three-season story arc that also carried through the 2021 spin-off The Book of Boba Fett.
