While the most recent heatwave experienced across the country has already finished, we may soon be getting another one in July, according to the Met Office.
Despite temperatures slowly falling throughout the week, showers will become less frequent and it has been predicted that there will be more sunny intervals.
This will carry on into the first couple weeks of July where conditions are expected to settle with slightly more showers seen in the north.
However, this doesn't mean Mancunians' hopes of a heatwave in July have been completely dashed. It has been reported that temperatures across some southern parts of the UK will reach as high as 30C which has the potential to carry on into the northern areas of England.
