With the NFL’s week, one action said and done The Cleveland Browns have finally won their first game of the season. Cleveland’s win against Baker Mayfield and the Carolina Panthers is the team’s first week one win since 2004 against the Baltimore Ravens.
As the Browns get ready for week two against the New York Jets they also look to start the season with a record of 2-0 which has not happened for the Cleveland Brown since 1993.
The Browns are in a great spot for a week two victory to advance to 2-0 for the first time in 29 years. Some of you might remember the Browns beating the Bengals in week one of that faithful season.
Bill Belichick’s Cleveland Browns would then go on to host the San Francisco 49ers for some Monday Night Football action. Bernie Kosar would hit Michael Jackson for a 30-yard TD pass before the half to give the Browns a 20-13 lead.
