The Prime Minister said that pubs and restaurants, along with other businesses, will be able to reopen on 4 July with new "covid secure" measures in place. "Our principle is to trust the British public to use their common sense in the full knowledge of the risks – remembering that the more we open up, the more vigilant we will need to be," Johnson said.
He described the milestone as the beginning of the end of "our long national hibernation". But what safety measures will you have to follow and will you have to book ahead of your visit?
