In her spare time, the retired care worker enjoys few things more than taking her four dogs out for a long walk around the beauty spot.Yet she fears she could be about to lose it all.For her property and the adjoining stables are situated within a plot of land that could be drastically transformed in the years to come.A total of 3,500 new homes have been earmarked for green belt farmland surrounding the reservoir under the controversial Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF).The region's masterplan for housing and jobs, the GMSF outlines what land across the conurbation is suitable for different kinds of development over the next 17 years.Around 180,000 new homes are planned overall, down from 227,000 when the plans.
