Wigan Warriors have been dealt a massive blow after star man Bevan French was ruled out for the remainder of the 2021 campaign - but has agreed to return to the club next season.
The Aussie full-back suffered a hamstring injury against Salford Red Devils last month and, after undergoing surgery, he has now returned home to Australia where he will undergo a period of rehabilitation.
Significantly, the 25-year-old has exercised his option for next year in his current deal and will return to Wigan in 2022 for the start of pre-season.
