Wife confronted burglars trying to steal £42k Audi supercar with husband's Samurai sword

A woman managed to fight off three masked car jackers with her husband's Samurai sword as they tried to steal the couple's £42,000 Audi.

Rehan Malik, 23, and two others, broke into the couple’s home in Shipley, West Yorkshire, at 5.30am on October 25, demanding they give them the keys to the Audi.

The husband managed to dash up the stairs and dial 999 and grab the Samurai sword as a weapon. But when they heard the car start up, they realised the raiders had found the keys, Bradford Crown Court heard.

As Malik, from Bradford, was trying to make off with Audi S3, it got stuck in the garage doors. The woman then took the opportunity to use the sword to defend herself and went out to the garage.
