'Wicked' Cast Assembles at SAG Awards 2025, But Here's Why Jonathan Bailey Missed the Show
justjared.comThe whole cast of Wicked is at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards, but one main star is missing. Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and more stepped out to celebrate their work in the movie musical on Sunday (February 23) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Also in attendance were Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum (with wife Emilie), Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, and Bowen Yang, as well as Peter Dinklage who skipped the red carpet.
They are all nominated together for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Jonathan Bailey, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his work as Fiyero, missed the event.
He also has another nomination for his work on Bridgerton. Keep reading to find out why… If you didn’t know, Jonathan is currently starring in the play Richard II in London and while he has Sundays off, it would have been a very tight turnaround for him to fly to Los Angeles for the event.
