Are you possessed?’”Pattinson explained that he would often embellish stories — or downright lie — when talking to the press during that time in his career because he was bored of being asked the same questions. “The only thing people would ever ask me about was being famous,” he said. “You go into, like, a fugue state.” Other tales Pattinson spread included taking one of his stalkers to dinner, posing as a female hand model and shooting a coprophilia scene for “Twilight” that didn’t make the final cut.Pattinson’s newest movie, “Mickey 17,” will be released next year.It’s his first live-action role since he suited up as “The Batman” in 2022, which is why he wasn’t surprised when a fan thought he had retired from acting.

During his Times interview, Pattinson recalled an airport employee telling him: “Hey, you’re the guy from ‘Twilight.’ Why’d you stop acting?”“I was like, ‘I’m Batman?’” he said. “She just laughed.” Pattinson’s “Mickey 17” is a science fiction dark comedy based on the 2022 novel “Mickey7” by Edward Ashton.

The film is written, produced and directed by “Parasite” Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho.Pattinson’s character is known as an “expendable” and goes on a dangerous journey to colonize an ice planet.

He’ll co-star alongside Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun and Naomi Ackie. “Mickey 17” hits theaters on April 18, 2025.However, that’s not the only project that Pattinson has in the works.He’s also be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne in “The Batman Part II,” which will go into production next year and likely be released in 2026.
