Wanderers have won their last six games in League Two and are unbeaten in their previous eight matches in the division. It has taken them from the bottom half of the table and into the play-offs and just six points from the division's summit heading into tomorrow's clash on the road against Bradford City.
It is a far cry from earlier on this campaign where Wanderers have dropped to 19th in the fourth tier of English football. And Evatt believes the standards set by him and his backroom staff, allied to the difficult times experienced earlier in the campaign, are the factors which explain why the Wanderers squad have not become overconfident during their rise up the table.
