Love Island couples are subjected to numerous tests during their time in the villa, including Casa Amor and the babies challenge.

The tasks continue to test their commitment to each other as well as their compatibility and romantic connection, but there was previously one challenge that really caused tension between the Islanders.

The lie detector was once a favourite amongst viewers of the ITV2 dating show but it was scrapped by bosses back in 2019. The task would see each contestant hooked up to a polygraph as another contestant grilled them about their current partner, and the rest of the Islanders would watch the challenge on the TV in the lounge area.
