Leandro Trossard was sent off late in the first half for Arsenal against Manchester City for delaying the restart of the game.
The Gunners man collected his second yellow card following a foul on Bernardo Silva, after which the Belgian kicked the ball away.
It meant an early bath for for the forward. It followed Declan Rice's dismissal against Brighton for the same offence which prompted an angry reaction from Arsenal chief Mikel Arteta.
And the Gunners boss was again left furious at the Etihad Stadium. The Premier League match centre X account explained the decision, writing: "The referee issued a second yellow card to Leandro Trossard for delaying the restart."
