The 27-year-old is enjoying his longest extended run in the side while rewarding Pep Guardiola for his faith with decisive contributions to winning efforts at both ends of the pitch.
Almost as much adulation came Grealish's way for assisting Julian Alvarez for the opening goal as when tracking back to prevent a Mohamed Salah-led Liverpool counter-attack moments earlier.
Adding the fourth goal himself was well-earned and means he has already scored more Premier League goals this season (four) than last (three).
