Dion Charles is over his thigh injury which has kept him out of action of late for Bolton Wanderers with the Whites opting to reduce risk of the problem reoccuring so he can be fit and firing for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday, Ian Evatt has explained.
The striker has only played in the League One season opener against Ipswich Town and has not featured for Wanderers since that.
He picked up a slight thigh problem which has kept him out of action since then. The extent of the problem was discovered when a precautionary scan showed damage which could have worsened with playing.
It is why Charles did not feature against Morecambe earlier this week and why he has been given extra time to be ready to take on the Owls.
