The celebrities are stepping out in style at the 2025 Grammys, and one style choice is particularly gaining attention.
Fans quickly noticed one trend on the red carpet: a blue pin. Prior to this year’s ceremony, the Recording Academy confirmed that the show will raise funds for those effected by the California wildfires. “This year’s GRAMMY Awards will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” The Recording Academy said in a statement. “In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or other emergencies, we can show music’s power to unite and uplift, and support the Los Angeles relief efforts in meaningful ways.” Keep reading to find out more… As part of those efforts, the blue pins worn by this year’s nominees – made up of the blue heart and white music note design – “symbolizes the massive support being organized by the Recording Academy and our partners to help communities devastated by the Southern California wildfires,” via Glamour.
The Recording Academy says they’ve distributed “more than $4 million in emergency aid to nearly 3,000 music professionals affected by the wildfires” thus far.
