The 65-year-old is so serious about starring in the hit BBC sci-fi show that she's even spoken to Fourth Doctor Tom Baker about it and once offered her services to the broadcaster.

After reports that Thirteenth Doctor Jodie is stepping down after the upcoming series, Whoopi is throwing her hat in the ring to be the next star to take over the TARDIS.
