Whoopi Goldberg was a no-show on her U.S. daytime talk show The View on Tuesday after taking a break to visit her doctor.The 64-year-old, who missed weeks on the daily magazine programme last year as she battled a severe health crisis, told producers she wanted to make sure she was safe to return to the show amid the coronavirus pandemic.“To be extra careful about her health, Whoopi is consulting with her doctor today,” co-host Sunny Hostin explained. “She wants everyone to know she feels fine and plans on being back here tomorrow.“We know that Whoopi had pneumonia, and was not in a good place.
