During the live episode on Thursday (September 15), the first tie vote of the season happened and the Head of Household was forced to place the tie-breaking vote. Monte was the HOH this week and he nominated Brittany and Alyssa for eviction. Brittany won the power of veto and took herself off the block, leading Monte to put Taylor on the block as he was committed to keeping Turner in the house to ensure a bigger target is still there.
