These notices, which are circulating on social media, feature bogus plot details about the upcoming third season of the “Sex and the City” reboot. “AFTER GETTING HIT BY A CITIBIKE, CARRIE RETAINS FLETCHER REEDE (JIM CARREY) FROM ‘LIAR, LIAR’ AS HER LAWYER,” one filming notice reads.
Another includes a fake plot about Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) revealing to her friends that “she is Garfield the cat.” In a different filming notice, the project details read: “CARRIE GOES ON A BAD DATE WITH MR.
BEAN (THE CHARACTER) AND THEN ACCIDENTALLY SENDS HIM A NUDE.” It’s not clear who is responsible for these notices or if they are somehow stealth marketing for the series.
