Who is Molly Marsh? Love Island star's life and soap star mum as she joins show

As Love Island fans gear up for the Summer edition of the show, a host of hopefuls who are looking to find love in the Mallorcan villa have already been announced.

Among them is Molly Marsh, 21, who is a social media creator and actress, excited to find her Prince Charming. Performing and being on stage runs in the family, as Molly's mum Janet has appeared on screen in soaps including Coronation Street and also been in the short film Cerulean.

Speaking about making her way into the villa, Molly revealed that she is 'quite old fashioned' when it comes to love and told ITV: "I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone.' Molly, who is from Doncaster, has already amassed a huge following on Instagram, with more than 42,000 followers, and the number is set to climb as she heads into the villa and joins her fellow singletons.

While the beauty has not been on Love Island before, as she works in social media, she has previously mingled with stars of the show including Molly-Mae Hague in October 2021 at a Beauty Works event.
