The sun is out and Love Island season 10 is officially on tonight! This week, ITV revealed 10 hot new singletons who are set to enter the famous Love Island villa.

Amongst the brand-new cast was Mehdi Edno, who ITV bosses hope to be the reality dating show's "new Davide." "Mehdi is the definition of tall, dark and handsome and will be a lot of the girls' type on paper," an insider told The Sun.

But will he find his Ekin-Su? We don't know that just yet, but here's all we do know about Mehdi so far: How old is Mehdi? Born in 1997 and at 26-years-old, the Love Island 2023 contestant is set to enter the show which will last eight weeks long.

In a new twist on the popular dating program, Mehdi's fate during first episode the will lie in the hands of the viewers. Yep that's right, in this year's tenth season, which will be hosted by TV presenter Maya Jama, we will see the public being able to decide which Islanders couple up in the opening episode.The show's loyal fans can vote for free through the Love Island App from Thursday 1 June at 8am to Friday 2 June at 9pm.
