The new series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing now has an eighth confirmed contestant. Singer-songwriter, musician and actor Matt Goss will take to the famous dance floor this autumn.
The award-winning entertainment show will return for its 20th series in September, once again bringing glitter, glamour and glorious dancing to homes across the nation.
Already confirmed are DJ Tyler West; actor Will Mellor; actress, singer and presenter Kym Marsh; Radio 2’s Richie Anderson; journalist and broadcaster Kaye Adams; comedian Jayde Adams and Paralympic champion and broadcaster Ellie Simmonds.
Goss, who was was lead singer of 1980s pop group Bros, said: “I’m extremely nervous and excited, but I’m optimistic because I’m very supple from the knees down.” The news that he was joining the show was revealed on ITV’s This Morning.
