Bolton Wanderers have targeted Kyle Dempsey as their final January transfer window acquisition. If a deal gets over the line for the Gills man later on today, then Wanderers will have made a total of seven brand new signings this January.

Neil Harris has now been appointed as Gills boss, which was understood to be the development which was holding up progress on the deal after Wanderers lodged a bid earlier in the window.
With Harris now installed, one of his first jobs is to oversee comings and goings at Priestfield and that will certainly include Dempsey's future, making a transfer to Bolton a potentially more likely prospect at some stage on transfer deadline day.
