Riyadh Khalaf is going to be showing off his cooking skills when he takes to the Masterchef kitchen. The Irish star got his start on YouTube and amassed a huge following on the platform.
But he saw his star power rise after moving to London. He now has a BBC documentary series called Queer Britain and a book, Yay You’re Gay, Now What?
to his name. Not too shabby. Despite now living in the UK, the 29-year-old was born and raised in Dublin by his parents – his mum, Lorraine, who is from Ireland and his father, Sam, who is from Iraq.
But he now lives with his boyfriend, fellow YouTuber, Josh Harrison and their cat Claire in London. He previously worked for Irish radio stations 98FM and Spin 103.8, as well as RTE 2’s TwoTube.
