Who is Griff? The Brit Award’s Rising Star following in Adele’s footsteps

evoke.ieExpect to hear big things from Griff. The artist is just 20 years of age and has been named as the winner of the Rising Star Award at The Brits for 2021.
In doing so, she follows in the footsteps of Adele, Florence, and the Machine, Jessie J and Ellie Goulding who all received the same honour before it was renamed from the Critics’ Choice Award.
Griff is one of the youngest ever recipients in the category having been just pipped to the post by Adele who was 19 when she picked up the award.
And while she is reasonably well known on the other side of the pond, she isn’t as high profile here yet, but will visit our shores later this year.
