Nikki Glaser is laughing her way to the big stage.The comedian, 40, has become a fan favorite over the last few years with a slew of incredible gigs, including hosting HBO Max’s “FBoy Island,” delivering a fiery performance on Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady,” and performing her Emmy-nominated stand-up comedy special, “Someday You’ll Die.” Now, Glaser is set to host the 82nd Annual Golden Globes on January 5 on CBS at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Glaser is taking the stage a year after Jo Koy, who received mixed reviews for his hosting. During the show, Koy, 53, poked fun at Robert De Niro for welcoming his seventh child with partnerTiffany Chen at age 79 along with cracking jokes about the “Barbie” movie.

Although his performance garnered backlash at the time, Koy admitted he didn’t take the criticism well.“Well, I had fun — you know, it was a moment that I’ll always remember,” the comic said on “GMA3.” “It’s a tough room.
