It’s been announced that Eunice Power will be joining Dáithí O’Sé on hosting duties on Today at the start of May. As Sinead Kennedy is on maternity leave, RTE has announced the latest list of people who will be stepping in to host the daytime show.

Eunice will be sharing the reins with Dáithí on Tuesday, May 4 but she will already be a very familiar face to viewers. A business owner and chef, Eunice has long been sharing her culinary skills with Today viewers.

In fact, the chef is so used to working on the show, she calls the team ‘family’. ‘The Today team is like a little family,’ she said after the announcement. ‘I’m really looking forward to the role of presenter and being at the other side of the counter. ‘I’m absolutely delighted,’
