Who is eligible for the £150 disability Cost of Living Payment and when it will be paid

The government has announced a wave of support packages to help households cope with the rising cost of living crisis. If you're currently receiving a disability benefit, you may be entitled to a lump sum of £150 to help pay for bills or any other needs you require.

In order to be eligible for the disability Cost of Living Payment, you must be receiving one or more of a specific benefits.

Eligible recipients must be receiving any of the following: Read more: All the cost of living payments you will receive and when you will get them Furthermore, you must have received a payment or be due to receive a payment of one of the qualifying benefits for May 25, 2022 in order to receive the cost of living payment.

If you get a qualifying disability benefit form the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as well as a qualifying benefit from the DWP, you will only get a cost of living payment from the DWP.
