All season long on HBO’s hit new anthology series The White Lotus, we were left wondering who would be the one to die in the end.

We finally know the answer! The series kicked off with Jake Lacy‘s character Shane sitting in the airport waiting for his flight home after his disastrous honeymoon and his wife Rachel (Alexandra Daddario) was not by his side.

A couple sitting across from him struck up a conversation with him and we learned that someone died at The White Lotus hotel.
