Netflix’s new take on the Arthurian legend, Cursed, has been a big hit with viewers since its release on 17 July. The fantasy drama, starring 13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langford, is based on the illustrated novel by Frank Miller, who also co-created the show alongside Tom Wheeler.
The series tells the story of teenage warrior Nimue, played by Langford, on her quest to deliver a magical sword to Merlin with the help of a young King Arthur.
Parts of the 10-episode series were shot in film studios in Berkshire and Pinewood, but most of the series was filmed at beautiful locations throughout the UK. Where was Cursed filmed? Filming took place over 10 months in 2019, with many scenes shot on location in Surrey, Cornwall and Wales.
