As England miraculously make it to the next round of Euro 2024, swathes of England fans are snapping up retro shirts to show their support.
The Three Lions were all but knocked out of the tournament on Sunday (June 30) as they came 90 seconds away from an agonising exit against Slovakia – who currently sit 45th in the world ranking.
The country – and Gareth Southgate’s job – was saved by Jude Bellingham’s stunning overhead kick well into injury time, before skipper Harry Kane headed home the winner in extra time.
England will now face Switzerland in the quarter-final on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 5pm live on BBC One. As England’s major tournament dreams continue, fans can still proudly wear their beloved jerseys whether at home or in the pub, but as the price of current shirts has surged in recent years, many are opting for older kits to support the team.
