Prince Harry has been confirmed to be attending his father King Charles III's Coronation next month. The Duke of Sussex, 38, will attend the King’s Coronation but the Duchess of Sussex, 41, will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Buckingham Palace has announced.
It comes after weeks of speculation surrounding whether the royal couple, who are now permanently based in California, would make an appearance at the historic event.The date of the Coronation is also the couple's eldest son Prince Archie's fourth birthday, which could be the reason for Meghan's decision to stay in the US with the children.
Buckingham Palace shared a brief statement confirming the news on Wednesday 12 April. “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May. “The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.” But where will Harry stay when he heads back to the UK?
