New thriller Passenger begins on ITV this weekend, where mysterious things are happening in the northern town of Chadder Vale.
The drama, penned by Bolton's Andrew Buchan, begins with detective Riya Ajunwa investigating the disappearance of a local girl Katie Wells.
She is swiftly found - but it soon becomes clear that something a bit strange is going on in the seemingly close-knit community amid reports of other young people disappearing.
All, seemingly, with a connection to a fracking site and the old tree on the town's outskirts. The atmospheric drama was all brought to life in scenes filmed across the north west last year.
