The first Soccer Aid match took place in 2006 and since then has raised more than £38m for UNICEF. Up to 2018 the game was held every two years - however since then it has been held every year.
It has also taken place at Old Trafford in Manchester each time apart from 2008 where it was held at Wembley, and in 2019 where it was at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge.
